Spelling and Grammar
Spelling and grammar are very important elements for social work students, since their work is often viewed by other professionals. Social workers produce reports for courts, medical facilities, schools, etc. If their reports are poorly written, it impacts the level of respect received from other professionals in these settings.
Therefore, be certain to give yourself time to review and edit your paper. Take time to read the paper aloud once you have written it. Have others review your writing before submitting. Pay attention to your grammar, punctuation and spelling. Express your ideas coherently, succinctly, and logically.
