Street Fight is a 2005 documentary film by Marshall Curry chronicling Cory Booker’s 2002 campaign against Sharpe James for Mayor of Newark, New Jersey. The film recounts the hard-fought campaign by a young community activist (Booker) against a 16-year incumbent mayor (James). The documentary follows Booker from his early days of door-knocking on Newark streets through to election day. It also looks at tactics used by James in his attempt to sway voters to his side.
