Child development theories provide the foundation of pedagogy and child development. This semester, you will identify, research, and present information about a developmental theorist. A list of possible theorists will be posted on Blackboard. You may select a theorist from this list, or choose another one you are interested in studying. This presentation must include the following information:
Biographical information about the theorists.
Summary of theory
How does this theory guide past and/or present education philosophies and practices (international and/or in the United States)?
SWOT analysis of the theory:
Strengths Weakness Opportunities Threats
Provide at least 5 references used for this research. Books, journal articles, and dissertation research are recommended.
These references should be cited on the last slide in accordance with APA style. The grade for this project will be based on the content of information, APA style citations, organization of Power Point, and creativity.
