Practice non-violence and truthfulness (as best as you can) over the course of 5 days. This practice entails developing mindfulness and an attitude of objectivity (free from attachment to the ego) towards your own thoughts, actions and behavior. Note that non-violence is more than absence of bodily harm; it also includes non-aggressive thoughts and speech. Truthfulness includes multiple dimensions as described in the lecture on qualities of a philosopher.
Analyze whether this practice brought a change in the way you responded to different situations, in the way you behaved towards others, and in the overall state of your mind.
(Note: You must not simply describe your experiences of the 5 days, but must devote half of the paper to the analysis of your experiences in terms of the related class readings/lectures.)
