THE SGM VARIABLES THAT WE DISCUSSED IN CLASS ARE AS FOLLOWS: COST LEADERSHIP: Price DIFFERENTIATION: S/Q, Brand Advertising, Retailer Support, Celebrity Appeal and Brand Reputation (Select any 3 of the 5). Balance the weights by consistently transposing the variables, e.g. S/Q multiplied by 1000 and/or Brand Reputation multiplied by 100. Always use the same variables with the same formulas.
