The reader will check your research, your logic, and your conclusions before accepting your recommendation. This means that you must provide research to support your recommendations. You will set up your recommendation report as follows: Introduction Your purpose statement should indicate that the document is a recommendation report. You should provide an overview of the main points to be presented in the paper. Solutions You need to decide which possible solutions you are going to present. You should present more than one solution. You might want to discuss solutions that have been tried in the past but have not been successful. When you present the possible solutions, make sure you are very clear and have research to show that this solution is a viable and logical solution that has been tried in the past. If the solution was successful, give data showing that it was a good choice. Clearly describe the solution as well as its advantages and disadvantages. Recommendations After you have presented all of the options, choose the one option that you feel would best meet your client’s needs. This should be based on effectiveness, cost, support needed, etc. At this point in the report, you can argue for this recommendation over the others by stressing its advantages and providing data to support your argument. Your conclusion should sum up the solutions presented and once again move the reader to accept your recommendation. Assignment Requirements: Note: ALL sources used must have verifiable authors. If the source does not have an author, you may NOT use it for your recommendation report. The report should be a minimum of 700 – 800 words.Each solution should have a minimum of one citation from a valid source.Overall, the paper should be 4-6 citations from 2 different sources.Each time you include a paraphrase or quote from a source, it must be clearly documented within the report.Each source used within the report must be easily located in the works cited. And each works cited entry must be easily located within the report.At least one of these sources should be from the FSW database. However, more sources from the FSW database are recommended.There is no template for this assignment. However, you are expected to use what you have learned so far in this course about layout and design to create an attractive and practical layout. (Include at least two visual images — these may be helpful charts and graphs that support the content, or the images may be used to enhance engagement with the report topic.) Use the sample paper as a guide.The report must be double spaced and use MLA properly for all in-text citations as well as the works cited page.
