Write a 5-7 page essay plus bibliography
Your paper must engage actively with a MINIMUM of 3 acceptable secondary sources and 3 acceptable primary sources (NO WORD LIMIT) to receive a passing grade. Please note that for secondary literature, these are three sources IN ADDITION to your course textbooks (these can be books, articles, or chapters, or a relevant Oxford Dictionary of National Biography entry). You can certainly use your course textbooks as well, but need to ensure that you seek sources beyond these.
Cite all your sources fully in proper Chicago style. Include the original publication information (author, title, publisher, date) and the URL for every internet source. Your paper must contain footnotes and a bibliography (not part of the 5-7 pages).
