How does Covid-19 impact food safety perceptions? more specifically how does it influence consumer perceptions on meat consumption.
So as you are only writing the proposal for my thesis, I think it is important to understand what is expected of the thesis. The grade depends on the following aspects
* Introduction and problem statement or research question
* Relevance and originality of topic
* Logic structure of the thesis
* Literature review or theoretical chapter
* Research design and mastery of methodology
* Empirical data and the analysis of it
* Critical reflection and engagement with literature
* Logic conclusion
* General readability and quality of language use
and the general thesis formatting and structure consists of the following elements (note that some are not mandatory)
* Cover page: A cover page should be included at the start of the thesis with the students name and student number as well as the title of the thesis.
* Acknowledgements: In case a student wishes to thank people who helped them complete their thesis.
* Table of contents: On a right hand page (i.e. odd page number) in case the contents fit on one page; on a left hand page (i.e. even page number) if the contents table fits on two pages. Please do not expand the contents table to more than two pages.
* Lists of Figures, Tables, Symbols: Where appropriate.
* Main text: Next is the main body of the text, i.e. the subsequent chapters. The main text consists at least of an introductory chapter where the research question and its background is presented, a literature review chapter that seeks to explore what the current debate about the question tells us so far, a methodology chapter that sets out to explain the research method applied, a discussion of the results, and a concluding chapter.
* References: The thesis should end with a list of references cited in the literature. The formatting of the references in the list and in the main text or notes must be consistent. Depending on the major different referencing formats and citation styles are in use. Humanities often use MLA. This differs considerably from Chicago, used in the Sciences. In Social Sciences APA is mostly used. In UCG we therefore allow the students to choose a format (but consistency is mandatory).
* Bibliography: Where appropriate, students can include here literature that was used for the thesis but was not specifically cited in the main body of the text. Please format the bibliography like the references list.
* Appendices: Where appropriate or deemed necessary
The layout of the thesis is free. However, it is recommended to apply sufficiently wide margins, a readable font (Times New Roman is discouraged) and to not heavily stuff the page mirror. It is also wise to limit oneself in the use of a diversity of letter appearances like size, bold, italic and so on. All thesis products (including draft versions) must be saved and submitted to supervisors and/or uploaded for final submission using the following file name format: Thesis_[STUDENT NAME]_[THESIS PRODUCT TITLE, E.G. 1ST DRAFT]
please considering everything that I have wrote into how you write the thesis proposal. Important to focus on research question, importance , and the main text !! how you will write it and what you will include soo this is important
– * Main text: Next is the main body of the text, i.e. the subsequent chapters.
