Assignment:
“Statement of Purpose: A statement of one-to-two pages in length, outlining your reasons for pursuing the Ph.D. at The University ____, should be uploaded to the MyStatus page. Faculty select students who are highly qualified on all admission criteria and who have expressed an interest in research that is congruent with their research programs. Your personal statement should emphasize your research interests and research experience.”
I am providing my resume, as well as 2 papers I’ve started on research and practice, respectively. Feel free to use any of the content within them, keeping in mind they are there mostly to provide context about my background and motivations for applying to phd psychology programs.
The part that I found the most difficult is connecting my background and experience to the research of the 2 professors I have linked here. why I want to work with these people, specifically needs to be believable. I am hiring someone to do this because I am applying to 20 schools and don’t have time to tailor an essay to every single school.
