Read and respond to Anni Albers’ essay on materials at the link below. Suggestions: pull out and discuss favorite parts of the essay that resonate with you most; share stories of experiences with working with various materials (any!) that resisted you or with which you most enjoy working, and why; materials you’ve struggled to work with, or mastered, etc., etc. https://albersfoundation.org/artists/selected-writings/anni-albers/#tab4 (Links to an external site.) Take a look at a review in Artforum of an exhibition of Albers’ work…. https://www.artforum.com/print/reviews/201808/anni-albers-76737
