HISTORIC FIGURE PAPER
Choose a Historic Figure from within the period of this course, research this figure, and choose three events or topics about the person that effected change in America or made them recognizable in history. This will be more like a research paper but will require more than just reiterating what someone else has said about the person. You need to explore and explain why this persons life was important and what they did with that life. How did this person try to enact change in society? Were they an activist? Were they a politician? Was this person on the good side of history or considered a villain?How does history tell the story about the person? Does it look at one bad deed and render them unsalvageable?
You must utilize at least 2-3 primary sources in your paper; the primary sources can include documents, speeches, diaries, or written work by the figure.
