How do the messages incorporate cultural traditions? What suggestions can the broader community learn from these posts, programs, videos, or articles? How do the initiatives acknowledge the historical and current challenges within Indigenous communities? In your research, really try to get beyond simple and obvious sources and really come up with some interesting examples and analysis. Examples that I have found that would work well for analysis include the Social Distance Powwow group on Facebook, the public service announcements and continued commentary on the Covid issue by Alberta’s Indigenous radio station, Windspeaker radio, virtual talking circles run by Indigenous cultural organizations, video support resources for Indigenous education and mental health, and political statements and commentary by tribal leaders.
