Topic: The adverse psychological effects that childhood abuse and trauma (ex. physical assault, emotional abuse, neglect) has on adult survivors.
Hypothesis: Further statistical studies will reveal that childhood abuse/trauma often causes serious psychological illnesses in adult survivors, such as C-PTSD, PTSD, BPD and chronic anxiety; even for those who have received years of counseling and/or psychological therapy intervention.
Research Question: For adult survivors of childhood abuse and trauma, how at-risk are they for developing serious psychological illnesses later in life?
