Acceptable topics include segregation in Chicago, gentrification, megacities, the role of art in the city, consumerism in cities, the impact of globalization on cities Urban Renewal in Chicago, housing projects in the U.S., urbanization, among others. I highly suggest that you choose a topic that interests you. I also recommend that you think about how the literature review can be used in your future academic endeavors. The literature review should be about 7 pages long and should reference a minimum of 8 sources. As a general rule, you should have at least 4-5 citations per page. You can reference any outside source and the attached book, chapters, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 11.
