Our project is on the LGBTQ movement in Mexico.
Based on your Gender Justice group project, you will each write a 5-page paper that discusses your project and how it relates to the course. The most effective way to do so is to choose a course theme to which your project directly responds, and center your essay around that theme. Writing around the theme, you should explain how your project relates to the course through discussing the pedagogy of your project, how it engages with the course materials (cite 3-4 readings and films) and how it addresses the long history of colonially of gender and sexuality in the Americas.
Each Essay Must Have:
A title that conveys the argument or direction of the paper as well as the terrain and time frame covered by the paper.
An intro paragraph that introduces your topic and a thesis that lays out your argument,
Several paragraphs that develop your argument. Be sure that your topic sentences are clear and link to your thesis. Provide examples from the course material and your project to support your thesis.
A paragraph conclusion that brings home your argument and makes clear the importance of your project for the course.
