Autism student lesson plan.

Candidates are required to complete a lesson plan for an individual with ASD. The lesson plan should be designed to teach an individual (ONE) student. Candidates must base their lesson plans around a sample IEP goal for the student. The lesson plan can be developed to address either an academic or social goal and must include the following bolded headings and information requested:

Long-term objective: Must include an operational definition of the target behavior, level of criterion (accuracy and time frame). It must also include a condition.
Short-term objective: Define the short-term objective that will be the focus of your plan. The short-term objective must also include an operational definition of the target behavior, and the level of criterion (accuracy and time frame). You can list more than one short-term objective, but specify which you are using as the basis of your lesson.
Evidence-based teaching method: Identify the evidence-based teaching method that you will use.
