You will complete a Quality Improvement Report after identifying a deficiency in the workplace or home environment and
developing a plan to address the issue(s). The self-selected location will be submitted to the instructor for approval in Week 2.
Using various components of the Total Quality Management (TQM) Philosophy, students will create a plan that serves the
purpose of demonstrating knowledge and understanding of TQM tools, techniques, and processes and how to apply them
appropriately to a demonstrated deficiency. The report will also prepare students to communicate in a professional setting.
I chose a sawmill but if you do this for a manufacturing facility I can change it to a sawmill. Also, this report needs an annotated bibliography.
