My essay will be compared with my previous essays on Borges, Italo Calvino, and Ndiaye. The author whom I chose is Gabriel Garcia Marquez; a Colombian novelist, short story writer, screenwriter, and journalist. Love in Time of Cholera ” is a novel where the author has to learn how to wait, and consists of the love and/or romantic endeavor that changes your perspective on life. Also, we can see that involved fidelity and love last longer. Love in Times of Cholera takes you back to a time where people used to find love at first sight. This story is about young adolescents being able to fight against the world just to keep their lover safe. This story is very interesting because love nowadays is comparatively different and we can learn how today, patience is very vital in a relationship.
