ou are required to develop a Marketing Proposal for a multi-national branded company. Select a specific product/brand and assume you head the management team running the company marketing the product/brand. Your product/brand should NOT be marketed in that country yet. The product/brand may be real or fictitious. Select any country (excluding the US and Canada), where your company will market your chosen product/service.
Some points in the guideline are relevant to some countries but not to others.
The Project Proposal should:
Introduce the background of the specific firm/product/brand you have selected;
Explain why you think it has great potential in the target country; and
Discuss potential concerns and challenges when marketing this product/brand in the target country.
The Final Report should contain:
1.Executive summary;
2.Product/service information/history;
3.Cultural analysis;
4.Economic analysis;
5.Market audit & competitive analysis; and
6.Preliminary marketing plan including the marketing mix to be used.
The written report should be a minimum of 10-12 pages in length and not to exceed 20 pages (single-sided, typed, double-spaced, and error free in 11-12 point font), excluding the cover page, table of contents, list of references, and appendices. In addition to the main content, all written reports must include a cover page, a table of contents, page numbers, a list of current references (minimum of 5), and an appendix of key figures, charts, and the like. References should be written in American Psychological Association (APA) or Modern Language Association (MLA) format. If you are not familiar with these formats, consult manuals in the library or online. Current references should come from a variety of sources such as journals, websites, and books. Do not use the internet and textbook as your sole resources. You are encouraged to use headers and sub-headers to label different sections of the paper. Since points will be deducted for spelling and grammar mistakes, I strongly recommend that each group have its report proofread by a writing tutor prior to submission.
The paper is due on or before the final exam day, to be attached on Canvas under “Attach your Term paper Here” under Assignments. Either a Word or PDF document only.
