You will be introduced to factorial designs in Week 3, after which you can start working on setting up the study, with support during the webinars. You will also be given the opportunity to receive feedback on a partial draft (title, introduction, methods, references you should be preparing to run a study that uses a factorial design (2×2) on the topic of the bystander effect Your experiment will have TWO INDEPENDENT variables, each with 2 levels The experiment will have a BETWEEN SUBJECTS design (separate participants take part in separate conditions) Two Independent Variables, each with two levels- One IV to investigate the diffusion of responsibility hypothesis, by looking at number of bystanders (multiple, none). – A second IVGender of the victim
