6-8 pages of analysis that uses various theoretical versions of the outcome, in this case realism (use of power by the US, states as main actor, security), interdependence theory focusing on the drug market, domestic politics to explain how latin american countries with weak state capacity/weak governments have more issues with drug trade and how profits from the drug trade were used to support groups that challenged the state. for domestic politics also talk about if drug cartels are militarized. As part of Gilpin and Keohane international regime analysis (Will attach below) talk about neoliberalism and for another part of keohane talk about how there is agencies in the UN that are the international regime for the control of narcotic drugs as he claims that there should be some type of regime to deal with the problem.
