Qualitative research Design( Exploratory_descriptive)Aim: the study aiming to explore the experiences of patients returning to work following total knee or hip replacement surgery and to understand how surgery has impacted on their abilities to perform work. As occupational therapist these findings would assist us to perform a significant treatment plan for those patients in rehabilitation sessions in order to increase their abilities in work participation by overcomes difficulties and limitations.objectives :To conduct a comprehensive literature review. To explore via interview patients’ prespectives regarding: Barriers of returning to work, Impact of surgery on returning to work and How surgery has impacted on their ability to perform work. Inclusion criteria: under 60 years old with total hip or knee replacement, petient has returned to work after surgery, patient can communicate verbally. sample size: small (6-9) purposive sampling, smi-structured interview with these patients, data collection using text to record information from patients and probably recording the interview unless patient refused itData Analysis : Thematic analytical approach*Reflexivity and truthworthiness*Ethical considerations
