Privacy and Internet Policy Thought Paper Assignment
There are two distinct yet related parts to this assignment and a requirement for a closing (synthesis) statement.
First, use the following outline to help structure the first part of your Thought Paper about Privacy and Internet Policy (4 6 page expository paper). Your resources to develop this should include relevant information from the Reynolds text, information from our Course Modules, outside research sources (at least two), the James Moor essay, and your personal experience.
Privacy issues related to technology Select only one of the following four:

Second, analyze the issue you selected above and apply it to your use of the Internet to maintain both privacy and compliance with an Internet use policy. Your resources to develop this should include relevant information from the Reynolds text, information from our Course Modules, outside research sources (at least two), the James Moor essay, and your personal experience.

Include a closing statement of related privacy issues and how compliance with an Internet policy provides protection from violation(s) of privacy. Write a closing statement that synthesizes your critical thinking about privacy and an Internet policy. Include in this summary any gaps you identified that do not appear to be considered in most Internet policies you studied (or know about). Internet policy and privacy (as a general issue) are inextricably connected. Most users access their email through an Internet portal.
