I am currently working on a literature review for my dissertation; this document will serve as my final dissertation proposal’s backbone. I want to organize this part of the literature review by two driving questions: -Identify a gap in the empirical research associated with students’ science learning and science instruction around the concept of teaching secondary climate education. This section should thoroughly discuss prior research to describe what is known and the specific gap that warrants future research. -How students learn science has focused on a great deal of educational theory, research, and ‘best practices’ of instruction. Draw from this body of work to define, describe, and articulate a theory-driven and research-based position on the nature of science teaching and learning. Your response should address a) underlying theoretical components of a perspective on learning and b) implications for the design of science learning environments, including curriculum and instruction. I want roughly 30 pages for each of these two topics (60 total). I have stated that there should be 95 references; however, this can be more or less as needed. All references should be cited more than once, and points should be supported or refuted by multiple sources when possible. I am attaching a document of sources I have used in the past and other parts of this literature review. Still, additional sources will be required to answer the overarching questions. I will be adding the draft option to my order and I would like to have the first question-Identify a gap in the empirical research- to be prioritized. Ideally, this question would be completed in about two weeks.
