Your goal in this research effort is to learn what other organizations have done to address clinician burnout and what results they have attained. Ideally, you will uncover a diversity of approaches. Some of your research may also investigate the causes of and contributors to clinician burnout; however, the overall focus should be on approaches to reducing burnout.
Carefully and critically, examine the approaches reported for advantages and disadvantages, considering the conditions under which one approach might be better than another. You should also consider how these approaches relate to content from the video lectures, and you should integrate ideas from the assigned reading by Marchalik into your analysis. Then write a memo summarizing your learnings and key takeaways, including a brief overview of the similarities and differences among the different approaches to reducing clinician burnout and how these approaches relate to course content covered in the lectures. Where possible, ground your argument in specific, concrete examples.
Your memo should be no longer, than one single-spaced page. You may list your references on a second page. You do not need to format the memo as a formal business memo. Just list your name and the subject of the memo at the top.
