First, the Dissertation Outline contains all the sections (and subsections) required in a DBA dissertation. The first two chapters in the outline form the dissertation proposal and serve as the foundational research document that must be approved by the committee prior to gathering data, conducting research and completing the dissertation. This course assignment is a foundational exercise for designing a research study that will help once you enter the dissertation phase later in the program. The second document is the DBA Dissertation Formatting Template and will help you with the correct layout and formatting for a research proposal. For this assignment your mini-proposal should include a condensed version of the following elements from the dissertation outline document; Section 1, items a-g, Section 1, item k(i), Section 2, items b,d,f,g (overviews only). The mini-proposal should be approximately 10-12 pages in length (not including cover page, TOC, and references).
