Students will write an APA Literature Review. Pick out a piece of literature to review. The paper will use at least three sources that pertain to the student’s chosen field of study. If, for instance, the student is pursuing a business degree and wishes to know more about a current trend in the field, students should find three sources that closely relate to that topic and then write a literature review. The resources found in Moodle will clarify what a literature review is, but in essence, students will read current literature (current articles) pertaining to their chosen topic and will then write a paper that informs the reader about their findings and their analysis of that topic. A Literature Review does not merely summarize the three articles, but rather synthesizes and analyzes the ideas found in those articles. It does not, however, present new findings based on the student’s own primary research.
Format your text consistently throughout the Report, taking care to cite correctly the works used.
Cite at least three sources to support your research for the final paper. Include a Bibliography for those resources at the end of your document. Title that page as References.
The total word count for your final report is: 600 words (1 page of double-spaced text = 250 approximately words). A title page and the References page do not count in this word count.
