Discuss the effects of 12 weeks swimming on the level of serum glucose and insulin resistance in older adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Title: It should be concise and specifically summarize the proposed work.

II. Abstract (250 words max) + keywords
It should contain a brief introduction and describe the hypothesis and aim(s) of the experiments. It should also briefly indicate the methods used to answer the question and the significance of the work. An abstract is very important as it provides a summary that allows the reader to quickly assess the basic premise of the project. References should not be cited, and any abbreviations used must be defined.
Below the abstract, 4 to 6 keywords should describe the project topic. These keywords should not be in the title.

III. Introduction (2-3 pages)
It should begin with the basics of the research topic and provide background information to put the specific question(s) into context. It is important to point the limitations of the previous research done on the topic and what remains to be elucidate. It should attract the readers interest to the problem and highlight the importance of the project. This sections should be based on published scientific reports and be concise. At the end of the introduction, the research hypothesis should be clearly written and the different aims to test the hypothesis should be formulated.

IV. Research design and methods (2-5 pages)
Describe for each specific aim (1 to 3) the general research design and methods that will be used (design of the study, subject characteristics, ethical considerations, descriptions of the methods/tests used, and statistical analyses). The methods used do not need to be highly detailed (the student is not supposed to perfectly know all the procedures, reagents and apparatuses used for his/her project) but it should give a global picture of the experimental design and the procedures employed.

V. Conclusion and significance (1/2 page)
In the introduction, the student has already highlighted and explained why the research project is of importance. In this section, it should be explicitly state how the proposed research plan will advance knowledge, what is its significance for the field of Sport Sciences and the society in general.

VI. References
The reference list is inserted at the end of the task. References are numbered and arranged in alphabetical order.
To insert references in the text, use the following model:
X and y (year) demonstrated or it has been demonstrated . (x and y, year). If more than two authors: x et al. (year) showed that or it has been shown that (x et al., year)
The reference list should be organized as follow:
Article: Dawkins RL, Oreilly C, Grimsley G, Ziko PJ. Myasthenia gravis: the role of immunodeficiency. Ann NY Acad Sci 1976; 274:461-467.
