Within a few weeks the entire paper will be due. All that is due right now is the introduction and the title page.
We need to write about the stroop effect, summarize the findings of a few articles (some of them could come from the first assignment we did and those references you found) and explain based on prior research what we expect to find in terms of results from our experiment.
Today we did an experiment with the stroop effect in class where we saw 3 colors and 3 words come up on the screen and we had to match the colors to the words using the keyboard. The second time around, the words were spelt as “blue” or “red” or “green” but colored not what they read. So it took more time to submit what we thought the correct answer was. That is what I am assuming the instructions mean by predict what our results will be, as in, our response time took longer as the task was more difficult with the colors not matching the words.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. I will attach files from the instructions as well to help. The rest of the paper will be due in about 2-3 weeks. The method, results, discussion abstract portion etc.
