I’d like my algorithm to focus on a small cohort of people who are between 30 and 55 years of age with no comorbidities and presenting to Endoscopy for an gastroscopy(OGD) procedure with ongoing dyspepsia epigastric pain and acid reflux regardless of being on a anti acids Omeprazole a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). On the findings on endoscopy maybe gastritis however no other pathology as I want to keep it very simple and straight forward. The algorithm will need to cover a positive Helicobactor Pylori (HP) finding on endoscopy and treatment (antibiotics) and alternatives for people with penicillin allergies. And a different pathway for negative HP under guidelines.
