It’s an entry level English class disguised as a technical class. Official requirements are as follows. Attached are a Rubric, and an outline I threw together.
1) Write a 3 page paper on the inventor which outlines the following topics:
a. Name, date of birth, country of origin
b. Invention/innovation that he/she is most well-known for
c. Other contributors to the product
d. What was the specific need the inventor addressed.
e. What type of impact the invention has on current society.
2) The paper should be written in APA style. See the “APA Style and Formatting” Module.
3) The paper must include the following:
a. Title Page
b. 3-5 pages of information, Times New Roman 12 pt type.
c. Reference page . You must have at least 7 sources no older than 5-7 years that are from reliable sources. (NOT Wikipedia, Youtube, or other unreliable sources). See the APA resource site for correct citation style.
d. Make sure you check for spelling and grammar.
e. Review the rubric that will be used for grading the paper prior to your submission.
