Partial draft of results and/or discussion

Reader’s Note: At the top of your submission, please include a short paragraph describing the piece that you uploaded and asking for specific, tangible help. You should also feel free to set some feedback as off limits (“Please don’t talk about grammar, I haven’t edited this,” or “I know the interview isn’t complete, but I want to know if what is here is starting to answer my research question.”). Finally, please include a one-sentence summary of your territory, niche, and research question in your reader’s note. Your goal in this note is to help readers who are perhaps unfamiliar with your research so far to get a little context and focus their feedback in ways that are helpful to you.

This week, you will be submitting part of your results and/or discussion section. This slice of your paper should be about four paragraphs (or roughly two pages, whichever is shorter) of your Results and/or Discussion section(s). This might mean your presentation of one or two interviews, a combination of results and discussion, or just discussion. Whatever you’re working on right now, especially if you’re struggling with it. You may have drafted far more than two pages, and that’s okay. Pick two pages to upload
he goals of this slice may include:

To start to tell the story of your participants, with an eye towards how it fits into your overall goals for your article (if you’re just posting the results);
To work out some of themes of your research (in either or both sections);
To make connections between your research and your reading.

Success criteria:

The presentation of the research should be more than just a transcript of interviews: there should be some thematic breakdown and synthesis of different interviews.
For the discussion section, the goal should be to put your own findings into context with the existing conversation you found in your reading.

I attached my proposal draft, annotated bibliography and four paragraphs of setup, methods or lit review.
