The Practical Guide to HR Analytics contains appendices with activities
o Appendix D: HR Metrics (pages 145-148) or the SHRM HR Metrics (see below); identify 3 metrics [not ones from our skills practice sessions] – for each metric provide the following in a 5-7 page written assignment. Use 12 pt. double space, clear in-text citations and a reference page.
o State the problem hypothesis you would like to solve and then the three metrics, you will use together to test the hypothesis and strategically plan for a successful outcome and then answer the following:

Explain how your selected metrics are calculated. Identify a scenario of how they could be used in the other analytic stages and levels to solve your problem statement above.
Your ideas of the type of data sources needed to calculate the metric.
Where might this type of data source be housed? Why?
Describe scenarios of how you could use this metric in each of the four stages of analytics. Are there other data elements that would be beneficial to use in conjunction with your identified metrics?
Who would be your stakeholders you would communicate with before/during collecting, analyzing and sharing outcomes? Why
