***I have uploaded all the reading and modules that is needed to answer the questions*** Please read the questions and answer them from the reading.

This midterm examination will be testing your understanding of the materials assigned in readings and discussed in class during the first half of the term. You are asked to answer the questions as thoroughly as possible (in fact, exhaustive would be better). To do this you may use the ASE and lecture notes/videos (remember to credit people for their words and ideas when you use them (in other words, do not plagiarize (its illegal)). Please take the time to explain the ideas or concepts you use in your answers. Answer questions using your own words. This means, do not answer exam questions by quoting the text. Your answers should reflect your understanding of the materials that you have read and that have been discussed in class. This midterm exam is a solitary activity, and this means that you are not to work in groups. Again, you are required to be thorough and fully answer the exam questions (though partial credit will be assessed for those responses that are less than complete). Please be sure to number your question responses appropriately. Also remember to use in-text citations and to include a reference page (both A.S.A. stylePreview the document, of course).

Your exam is to be typewritten and submitted to me via Canvas (submit as a Word .doc or a PDF file. (no .pages files)) by 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 11th.
