Instructions:
Using feedback on your outline and the outline itself, create a draft of your comparative essay of at least 2 full pages. Your essay should perform a comparative analysis of the case of the radium girls and the contemporary case you’ve chosen from the Unit 2 articles. Your essay should be purposeful and the comparison itself should work toward demonstrating a clearly articulated thesis that you establish in your introduction. Your essay should also use in-text signaling/citation of your sources. Review Unit 2 summaries, assignment descriptions, and notes, as well as the Week 5 notes on sources.
In addition to those two pages, your draft should also include an APA style works cited page representing your sources.
You are not required to create a title page for your essay draft. If you want to create one, that’s fine, but be aware it does not contribute toward your page count.
Formatting: Times New Roman, pt. 12, double-spaced, standard margins
Mechanics and style: Use clear, purposeful sentences and work on creating cohesive paragraphs. Use transitions and topic sentences as you move from one paragraph to the next. Proofread your draft carefully and run your program or application’s spellcheck function to help you find and correct errors.
Submission: The draft MUST be submitted as a Word file (.doc or .docx) to this dropbox. This is essential for detailed feedback. Work submitted to other dropboxes or assignment areas will not be counted or read. Work that is pasted in the comment box here will not be counted or read.
