After you read the chapter, think about experiences in how you move through a specific city (USE city of Venice 150 words, Then write another entry for the same prompt for the city of Toronto 125 words). Think clearly about travel in a car (either your own or via some ride-sharing app like Lyft and Uber) vs. travel not in a car (public transit, walking, cycling).
In your blog, first, based on your experiences, write about what mode of moving through the city the city seems designed for (and who is it not designed for) and the implications of this. Second, pick being a pedestrian, cyclist, or public transit rider (one that you rarely are), and write about what would need to happen for you to use it more often. Is there a design issue, an economic issue, a convenience issue, or something else that might change and prompt you to shift behavior? In the blog it MUST be clear you’ve read the chapter.
