Write the story of your life thus far.

Man is essentially a story-telling animal. That means I can only answer the question what am I to do? if I can answer the prior question of what story or stories do I find myself a part? – Alasdair MacIntyre

Write the story of your life thus far. How did you get to be the person that you are today? Research the year of your birth and describe the most significant economic, cultural, national and global circumstances of your generation. Dont leave out important people, such as your parents or guardians, siblings, friends, and so on. If there is a major event or experience that has shaped you, write about it. Consider in what ways you are like the people who raised you and how you are different. You also may want to consider how your race and/or identity plays a role in your life.

It should be typed, double-spaced, well organized (i.e. have an introduction, a logically developed body, and a conclusion), and should be checked for spelling and grammar. Make sure it has a title and page numbers on it before you turn it in.

Please note that you will NOT be graded on your life! You will be graded on the quality of your writing
