Write paper on Domestic Violence and is for a Marriage and Family Counseling Class. The paper itself will be turned in before class however, the topic will be presented to the class so will need the paper to include speaker notes for presentation as well any other kind of presentation materials.
Each student is responsible for providing a written paper (APA style 7th edition, including Title, Abstract, and References pages and roundtable presentation of their chosen topic. Students should be prepared to discuss and present this information in a “Roundtable Discussion” format (like at conventions and or meetings of professional organizations). The paper should be 10-12 pages in length, including, title, abstract and reference pages and address content areas relevant to your chosen topic (e.g., definition, history, prevalence, therapeutic issues, treatment modality). The paper must also include no less than five references (not Wikipedia) from credible sources (i.e., journal articles, books, or library resources). Please note that three of the references must be peer-reviewed empirical articles meaning that the article is research driven and includes research participants, research question(s) and/or hypothesis, and evidence that the research has been reviewed and upheld by a jury of peers who support publication. The paper must include a section on implications for couples/family counseling (make sure this section is titled as such).
