Project 2:
Understanding and identifying when, based on data, to utilize particular tools is essential to the quality management and performance improvement processes.
(This is also an area on the RHIT where students tend to struggle!)
For this project you will create a brief scenario including the type and display of data to effectively and appropriately utilize the tools listed below.
You will then create a powerpoint presentation (1-2 slides for each scenario/tool) and include the following information for each listed tool:
scenario (your text has examples to guide you but remember – you can make up your own)
type of data (ordinal, nominal, discrete, continuous, etc)
tool with a display of your data (use every tool listed below)

bar graph
pie chart
histogram
line chart
Pareto chart
Place your finished work in a PowerPoint presentation with a Title slide, 1-2 slides for each scenario/tool, and a reference slide.
You can be very creative with this project. Use sets of data from the book or make up your own. Create a scenario around the data and describe it. Select the appropriate tool for display.
Project 2.
-A slide for each graph with description of type of data it is used to display
-A “References” page with all resources listed in APA format
-A title slide with your name
