Aim of the study is to identify exercises which optimise H:Q ratio to reduce ACL and hamstring injury in elite football (EMG would be the outcome of those exercises).
Objectives could be:
To investigate the factors and mechanisms for non-contact ACL and hamstring injury in football
To investigate the influence of H:Q ratio in the aetiology of ACL and hamstring injury
To compare EMG responses in hamstrings and quadriceps during specific football-focused exercises
To identify exercises which optimise H:Q ratio
To draw conclusions and make recommendations for future research
There does not need to be a set amount of sources, but I would like to have anything between 20-50 (around 5 papers that include the exercises with EMG values, the more the better)
If there is enough literature to only include women studies, I would prefer that. If not, please include both men and women elite footballers.
I have included a template that I was suggested to use, please use it to guide your work (CASP, PRISMA, PICO, etc.) I would also like to see a forest plot if applicable.
The citation format is Harvard cite them right 10th edition. I would want to see criticality in the discussion part of the work.
I would like to have pubmed and Epsco as databases.
Conclusion of the work could be 4-8 exercises which optimise H:Q ratio including pertubation if applicable.
