I chose the topic of dogs being rehomed on craigslist. Whether that is ethical and legal is what comes into question and the paper should look at both sides of the legality and morality. For example, you could take the stance that rehoming your pet on craigslist puts them at risk to being abused or used as bait as there are no formal adoption procedures- but you could also say that you save them from entering a shelter by performing your own adoption process. The paper should look at backyard breeding as well and the ethics and legality of that. Be sure to look at both sides! Not take a definitive position.
