Hello, Hope you’re doing well! This 5 complete pages essay is for my humanities class. It’s based on 2 books: “Hard Times” by Charles Dickens and “Frankenstein” by Mary Shelly. Don’t worry, you won’t need to read the whole book (unless you really want to lol), those books are pretty famous and you can find a lot of great quotes and summaries online. One of the basic challenges all families face is how to raise a child. Imagine that Shelley and Dickens could debate each other on the following question: What does it mean to be a good parent, and should the government provide quality affordable childcare for working families?
