For this assignment, you are to review chapters 1 and 2 in part 2 of the textbook. As you prepare to write your chapter review, you should always begin by critically and actively reading the chapter you are reviewing. You should read and take notes of all the important points within the chapters being reviewed. As you do so, underline important passages so that when you begin writing the review, you will easily remember the most important places in the chapter that you would like to mention. (This is just advice, NOT REQUIRED)
While your time is limited (given the short session), you may want to try to write a rough draft, consisting of all your notes taken while reviewing the chapter. Before writing the draft, make an outline using your notes. Write down your ideas in the order in which they should appear in the paper. (Again, this is just advice and NOT REQUIRED)
Each chapter needs about 2 page each for the review (Total of 4-5 pages). Be thorough. Remember, this is a chapter reviewnot a critique or summary.and there is a difference. Be careful not to overload the paper with your personal opinions. Be as neutral as possible. Do not copy a bunch of quotes from the book and submit as your review. Use your own words as much as possible. If using a quote, use quotation marks and put the page number in parentheses after it.
