Interpret what you see. What is the artist trying to say? How does the work make you feel? What does the work remind you of? Compare it to other work sin the gallery space or on campus. If it is a public work, how does it respond to the site in which it is placed?
Finally, judge the success of the work. Do you feel as though it is well crafted? Did it make you think about something in a different way? Do you feel other people will appreciate the work? How may other people with different identities than you potentially perceive the work?
This paper should be between 800-1200 words, approximately two to three pages double spaced.
