For the essay:

First paragraph an introduction that summarizes the subject in an objective manner (i.e. discusses what the message is and what it is trying to convince the audience of, including the author’s name and what the title of their message is). This first paragraph finishes with a sentence or two that is a thesis statement which clearly states what will be analyzed, and whether all of that evidence will add up to a successful persuasive piece, or whether the piece/subject fails at being persuasive (or somewhere in between).

Paragraph 2 analyzes one aspect of the rhetoric and how it impacts the overall message.

Paragraph 3 analyzes another aspect of the rhetoric and how it impacts the overall message.

Paragraph 4 analyzes a third aspect of the rhetoric and how it impacts the overall message.

Paragraph 5 – analyzes a fourth aspect of the rhetoric and how it impacts the overall message (you can include more body paragraphs that analyze more about the rhetoric if you want).

Paragraph 6 include a conclusion that restates all of the aspects analyzed (this example shows three, but you may have more) and remember to explain why or how this proves that the article or video is either persuasive or not, or somewhere in between.
