Advocate for your community and/or patients by writing a political letter to a U.S. politician of your choice expressing your views on that significant community problem. Example issues may be related but not limited to: PPE Opioid epidemic Poor water quality Environmental issues Nursing staffing ratios Suicide as a public health crisis Gun violence/control Immigration issues (separation of families and unlawful detainment) Discuss how your community issue affects populations and social justice. Give at least 2 reasons why you support or do not support your political leaders views with a research-based reference to give credibility to your opinion. Then make at least 1 recommendation on how to improve or eliminate this community problem. Make sure that you use the correct professional letter format with no spelling errors. This should only be a 1-page professional letter. Be convincing! Upload your letter as a Word document.
