This is a short paper designed to build off of the methodologies we covered earlier in the semester. You need to:
1) state your thesis or research question
2) Identify the steps of your chosen methodology, and
3) apply those steps to your rhetorical artifact using specific examples from the artifact to craft an argument. This paper should be no more than six double-spaced pages long and submitted via Canvas.

Your essay should examine a rhetorical text using one of the following methodologies: neo-Aristotelian, feminist, ideological, generic or narrative criticism. In addition, you may draw upon the theories of Kenneth Burke (Dramatism) to complete your paper.

Paper should be no more than 6 pages in length, excluding reference pages.
Paper does not have a minimum required number of sources. External sources may be used to help your analysis of the artifact

Any citations must follow APA 6th edition style manual and include a reference page.
Paper is due by the end of class on April 30.

Late papers will only be accepted until one week after the due date, with a five point per day penalty.
Paper must follow an organizational pattern that includes:
– Introduction and research question.
– Short description of methodology explaining what you are using and the steps you will follow in your analysis.
– An analysis in which you apply a methodology to your artifact. You should use sufficient examples or data from your artifact to complete your analysis.
– Conclusion including the answer to your research question.
