For the second part of the paper:
What theory or theories and related constructs (pieces and parts that make up the theory) did the program adopt? **For this part, I have chosen the “Vicarious Learning” and “Situation” and “Reciprocal Determinism” environmental factors of the Social Cognitive theory, I will attach a page from our text book that define these. Vicarious learning because of how the kids learn from their parents and situation because of the low income communities and reciprocal determinism on how the kids learn from their parents and adjusts their behavior accordingly.
How closely does their program match with the best evidence? thecommunityguide.org (Links to an external site.) **There was no evidence on how effective the program was, but per my transcript of the interview that I’ll attach, La Tasha provides examples of how the kids learned and used the knowledge they got from the program to their benefit.
What evidence have they gathered and analyzed regarding their programs effect? (what outcome are they desiring to impact?)
How does interprofessionalism play a role in this agency and program? **The organization has partnered with other non profits like Hope at-risk girls-this program aims to provide young women from marginalized communities with an opportunity to attend a high-quality secondary school and develop as leaders and role models in their community. they also have a team of nutritionists and trainers that help the kids.
FEEDBACK FROM PROFESSOR ON ROUGH DRAFT:
Introduction: Expand on obesity more, like what are the healthcare costs?
The Helping Hands Center for Obesity: add more information on the organization (website here: https://helpinghandsc4o.wixsite.com/hhc4o/about_us ) what do they do? how are they funded? Expand on project play champion and stick with that program from the organization (In the transcript i will attach, don’t worry about the other programs.)
Social Cognitive Theory: How did they utilize this theory in their organization? How do they plan to? **Per my transcript, they utilized 3 factors (as mentioned above as well: reciprocal determinism, vicarious learning and situation). Maybe use reciprocal determinism on the future cooking classes that La Tasha plans to implement soon. Benefits of this is spending time and learning to cook on a budget from home.
Do not worry about reconstructing the Suggestion part. You can just revise. The paper was poorly written due to my assignment being deleted and I had to rewrite it on such short notice. It will definitely need better sentence structures and almost a reconstruction. The transcript for the most part is done, it has all the info needed. I interviewed the CEO of the organization and this is the transcript for that.
