please include why I want to go into the medical field:
my mother is a single, Korean mother and works very hard
she’s been really sick at the moment because she can’t afford medical care. my sister and I take care of her and her expenses. it made me want to go into the medical field because of my cultural knowledge and how it could help more people because the medical field has more work to do with racial equality.
I am also a survivor of domestic violence and I would like to help more women. doctors were of no help to me when I was being abused and I wish more doctors could be aware and help more domestically abused women.
