This paper is your final statement of your personal philosophy of leadership. The paper should include your views on the ingredients of leadership addressing key themes discussed this semester including the following:
– What is the difference between a manager and a leader?
– Are leaders born or can people become leaders?
– How your personal values, upbringing, education, and experiences thus far have shaped your definition of leadership- including a reflection of your personal story
– Your position on what a great or successful leader is- here you must integrate theories that we have covered this semester and your position on what theories most align what your personal thinking and values , in other words, define what leadership is to you, integrating ideas/concepts from the theories we have learned this semester
– Support your position with evidence from readings, texts, slides, videos and class discussions. You must integrate Bennis and the theories we discussed this semester.
